Todays' is harder to look for, the sweet baby girl is teething so bad all she seems to do lately is scream and cry. Tries my patience and raises my blood pressure, but trying to see it today. Will update later…

I never know how to start a blog….but I've challenged myself this year to look for the daily blessings in my life and considering its day 10 of the year, I probably should start. Our year started off with God giving us an incredible blessing. My car had been without heat for a long time and 2 days before Christmas I get a call saying someone had nominated me to have my car fixed for free. Not only did it not have heat, it needed four new tires and a right side mirror. This guy told me he was going to fix it all for free! I cannot begin to tell you how amazing it feels to not have to hope my kids stay warm in 20 degree weather in the morning on the way to preschool! Its because of the way this year started with this, that I wanted to start this blog.
I'm mostly a stay at home mom. I'm a part time minister also, but mostly a stay at home mom. Some days its hard to find the blessings when the little one has been screaming at me all morning and the bigger one has pooped his pants for the third time that day, BUT, its so much the little things. The kisses, the hugs, the babbles, the laughs, the race cars, planes, etc that make me see the blessings. Lets just be frank, life goes fast and is short, so frankly I'm doing my best to enjoy every minute. So, even if its just a kiss from my three year old, thats a blessing. A blessing that I can enjoy the kisses, a blessing that he's my son. And even the 6 month olds screams are a blessing. The three year old calls me his "big big big big big girl" lol. Its such a blessing that he's so sweet and so well behaved, I pray that this continues. Anyway, the challenge is to look for these every day. Especially when I feel like its been the worst day and I hope this blog will help remind me. I hope you enjoy reading and that you will look for daily blessings too…they are there, you just have to notice them. :-)
